-The March Trilogy-
Hello everyone, I will be reviewing the March series--by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and illustrated by Nate Powell-- which is three different comic books telling a story. It illustrates the Civil Rights Movement from the point of view of congressman John Lewis. It tells of the hardships and violence that many African Americans suffered when they started peacefully protesting led by Martin Luther King Jr.
I would definitely recommend this book, it certainly made me more aware of the events that took place during the Civil Rights Movement. I would like to warn people that it does include inappropriate language and some graphic imagery.
